Why we started Nexa.
Good lighting is quiet. You walk into a room and it simply feels right, the surfaces look the way they should, and the space does what it was designed to do. The fitting itself disappears. That is what we are after on every project.
We care about the choice more than the catalogue. A good fitting earns its place by how it performs in the room, how it controls glare, how it holds colour, and how confidently it can be documented.
Nexa was built so architects, engineers, and builders can speak directly with the people making those calls. We help design the lighting, specify the right products, supply the result, and keep the technical detail close.

How we work
What engineers look for.
The advice starts with how the fitting performs, not how quickly it can be sold.
Selection
We only put forward what we would specify ourselves.
Every fitting we recommend is one we would put our own name against, drawn from a considered range of established manufacturers. If a product is wrong for the brief, we say so, even when it would have been the easier sell.
Accountability
The person who recommends it answers for it.
Whoever selects a fitting prepares its detail and answers your questions on it. Your selection is never handed to someone who has not read the drawings.
Documentation
Every recommendation comes with its detail.
A selection is only worth something if it survives a specification. What we put forward arrives with the photometric data, datasheets, and dimensions your team needs to price it, document it, and build from it.
Scope
We design, specify, and supply, and we say where we stop.
We do the lighting design, the product selection, and the supply, and we are honest that we do not commission or install on site. The same two people stay with the project from the first conversation to the fitting arriving.
